Mala Pata is a small-run project for the outliers. We grew up on the grit of post-punk, the high-contrast of photocopied show flyers, and the DIY energy of subcultures that didn't ask for permission to exist. We aren’t trying to be your favorite mall brand or a lifestyle "solution." We just make the gear we wanted to wear but couldn't find.

HOW WE WORK

We don’t have a massive warehouse or a corporate office in a glass building. We operate as a collective because it’s the only way to stay independent.

On Production
We don’t believe in mountains of dead stock. Most of our apparel is made-to-order—printed or stitched specifically for you when you buy it. It’s a slower process than the big-box stores, but it keeps the quality high and the waste low.

On The Collective
We also curate a small selection of hardware and goods from independent partners who share our aesthetic. Because we’re pulling from different hands and different studios, your gear might show up in separate pulses. We aren't interested in the sterile, "one-box" experience; we’re interested in getting the right things from the right people.
